A catalogue of all titles held is available on this web site – please follow the appropriate link.  The stock has been listed under the following three categories, namely Scottish Qualification for Headship; Chartered Teacher; and Probationers (also including any general teaching titles).  Please note that some titles can fit more than one category, and you are advised to check the complete list if you are unable to find the title you are looking for.  Titles have been listed alphabetically by author within each category.

The centre library is normally open during term time from 8.30am until 4.15pm, with a late opening on Wednesdays until 7pm.  Staff wishing to visit the Library should telephone the Librarian in advance on 0131-663 7171 (in case of staff absence or early closure).  The Library is also open at certain times during school holidays – intending visitors should telephone the library during the last week of term to ascertain dates when the library will be open.  Books are shelved by the three categories, and alphabetically by author within each.

Titles may also be ordered by telephone – books will be despatched through the internal mail system.

Due to the nature and length of the courses, titles may be borrowed on a long-term loan basis if not required by another member of staff.  Titles should be renewed each term, and returned when not required.  Books on long-term loan are subject to immediate recall if required by another member of staff.
