Arrangements for the Start of Next Term

I hope that you have had a good summer holiday and that your son or daughter is looking forward to the opportunities and challenges of the new school year.

Communication

We intend to continue to issue Look in on Lasswade quarterly as in previous sessions – the new edition has been distributed via pupils. The school website (www.lasswade.info) also contains up-to-date information on events, achievements and developments.

Dear Parent,

I write to give you details about the arrangements for the end of session.

Arrangements for the Last Week of the Session

This school session runs until Friday 29 and will finish at lunchtime that day. School Dinners will be served from 11.40 a.m. approximately and the buses will be available thereafter. There will be no Head Teacher’s Surgery on Monday 25 June. The arrangements for the suspended timetable activities have been circulated from each organising teacher. Any money still outstanding should be paid to school immediately. If your son/daughter is not involved he/she should report to school as normal where lessons will continue with a revised timetable involving staff in school.

Dear Parent,

Arrangements for Spring and Summer Holidays.

I write to remind you that the school will be closed for pupils for the Easter Holidays at 3:40 p.m. on Friday 30 March and will restart for the summer term at 8:45 on Tuesday 17 April. During the Summer Term, the school will be closed on Monday 7 May (May Holiday) and Monday 21 May (Staff In-service). Summer term will end on Friday 29 June.

I write to advise you that the school will close for the February Holiday at 3.40 p.m. on Friday 9 February and will re-open for pupils at 8.45 for 8.50 am on Wednesday 14 February 2007.
